Other Ways to Donate
If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can gift up to $100,000.00 directly from your IRA to a qualified charity without having to pay income taxes on the distribution. Other assets you can use to make a charitable contribution include appreciated securities such as publicly traded stocks, bonds, mutual fund shares and private securities.
