Shore-Whitehill Award and Panel Discussion
Nominated by Achieva and Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) for her dedication to working for and with individuals with disabilities, Jillian Zacks received the Shore-Whitehill Award on February 16th at noon during a virtual program. With support from the Shore/Whitehill Endowment Fund, and in partnership with The Branch and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, this award is given annually to a champion of disability inclusion in the greater Pittsburgh community. The award presentation was followed by a virtual panel for parents of children with disabilities to discussing resources for transitioning into adulthood.
